Sarah and Hannah at one of their many car washes

About Hannah:

I’ve been making playlists as long as I can remember. Whether it was handing my mom CDs from the back seat of the car and telling her which track to play next, or making elaborate “dinner party redux” CDs for all my high school friends, or slyly taking over the iPod at every single party I went to in college – I’ve always found some way to exert my will over the music. This love more than likely lead me to a college job as a record store clerk, to a post-college hobby of being a music blogger for The Wild Honey Pie, to the actual career of helping putting out records for indie label Communion Records. In addition to consuming music, I also love action movies and gnocchi.

About Sarah:

I fell in love with cooking just after high school while living in Santa Monica, California. Leaving my home state of Colorado for the west coast was scary, but throughout the highs and lows of living on my own for the first time I always found comfort in my tiny kitchen. The cliche of 'food bringing people together' never rang more true, and I quickly realized my true passion was food. Shortly after, I applied to The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and swapped the beach sunsets of the 310 for the brutally humid winters of the 917. I graduated in 2012 and haven't looked back since; I have worked as a freelance writer and recipe tester/developer for companies such as USATodaySaveur, allrecipes.com, Schar, Weight Watchers, Shape, and many more. When I'm not working, you'll find me posted up at the park with my pup Murphy, drinking boba tea, or experimenting in the kitchen, likely with pie crust.
